About Mandli
Mandli is a free digital record book for community savings groups — the mandals where a circle of people save together every month, lend to one another, and share the returns at the end.
What Mandli does
For generations, a mandal has been run on a paper chopdo — a handwritten ledger of who paid, who borrowed, and what everyone is owed when the cycle closes. Mandli replaces that book. It records monthly contributions, loans at interest, penalties, expenses, and the final proportional payout, and does the maths automatically so the numbers always add up.
Mandli records money movements — it does not move money, and it never asks for bank or card details.
Who it's for
Mandli is built for community savings circles and everyone in them. The Chairman and Vice Chairman approve loans and disbursals, so money movements always have a second set of eyes; every member can see the fund, contribute, request a loan, and follow their own history in real time.
What's inside
- Loans at interest — calculated automatically at the mandal's set rate.
- Optional penalties — for late contributions, if your mandal uses them.
- Bring your paper history across — a guided way to migrate a mandal that's already mid-cycle.
- Monthly & all-time reports — clean PDFs of the same numbers everyone sees in the app.
- Role-based approvals — Chairman and Vice Chairman roles for money movements.
